East Maui Area (Road to Hana)

Road to Hana:  Drive the 55-mile windy, enchanting ride through the colorful rainforests to Hana, you will be amazed by the beauty and serenity of Maui.  Plan on a half-day or full-day trip, taking up to 4 hours to drive the very windy road that hugs Maui’s cliffs and coastline with interesting stops, bamboo forests, brilliant native flowers, lookouts, attractions, trails, villages and panoramic views.  The journey to reach Hana can be as big as the reward for getting there.  There are over 600 turns and over 50 one lane bridges!!!  Advice:  start early, take time, bring a lunch and take pictures.
